Abstract Musical

This was a project piece/exercise that involved abstracting the essence of a word and then creating a unique animated short that vividly (and abstractly) displayed that essence while telling an engaging story to the rhythm of a carefully curated musical number. The particular word that was given to me for this project was “rebirth” and I envisioned the life cycle of a river in its state of fallowness in the winter and then coming to life again through spring and summer, only to continue the cycle again.
